Unix is a family of operating systems derived from AT&T Unix in the 1970's. As such, it is the oldest and most stable operating systems available. Many current operating systems are derived from Unix, the most well known being Linux and Apple OS X.

Daily Data has been working with the Unix operating system since the 1990's, mainly Debian and various other Linux distributions, but also working with AIX, HP-UX and Solaris
